Fall Birthday Gift Tags

Fall birthday gift tag

My two youngest daughters were born at the beginning of fall. No, they’re not twins, but when they were growing up I called them my step-twins. You see, my stepdaughter is a day older than my youngest daughter. The most common question I got when they were young was, “do they get along?” Yes, they fight just like real sisters! My oldest is also a fall baby, along with my sister and my husband and more extended family members than I can count.  Fall is also the best holiday time of the year with Halloween and the lead-up to Christmas. For fiber artists, it’s an amazing time. Summer is over, school has started, and yarn companies are releasing new yarns and new designs to tempt us for the holidays. Sweater weather is back, hats and scarves are needed, and soon we’ll be able to cuddle up in front of the fire under a handmade afghan.

To help you with the upcoming gifts in your family, today I have a gift tag designed especially for fall birthdays. Download your free PDF here: Autumn Birthday Gift Tags

Bat Scrubby Crochet Pattern

bat scrubby

Because of the popularity of the Bat Mask Mate Crochet Pattern that I published last year, I reworked it a little bit to make a slightly smaller bat using Scrubby yarn. These cute little bats can do double duty by adding a little spookiness to your kitchen decor and also being useful when you wash dishes. Red Heart and Yarn Bee both have soft cotton Scrubby yarn that can be used to make bats as facial scrubbers. The Scrubby Sparkle yarn is great to make a bat for your dishes.

Amigurumi Treasure Chest

amigurumi treasure chest

Happy Monday! I’m super excited to share this new event with you, I know you’re going to love it! After all… who doesn’t love some free treasure?

For five days only, I’ve teamed up with 20 amazing amigurumi designers from around the world to bring you this awesome treasure trove of free presents. Hidden inside the Treasure Chest are 20+ adorable amirugumi patterns valued at over $100… all for free!

To see a slideshow of available designs, please visit https://youtu.be/rXbUodDC45w.

Normally to find a treasure chest you’d need a treasure map, right? With lots of scary-sounding locations such as “Bay of Despair” or “Sea of Terror”, drawings of sea monsters, and one big red X marking the spot.

But don’t worry, I won’t make you follow a treasure map to find this pot of gold. All you need to do is sign up for the special link! Read on for more details…

How Do I Access The Treasure Chest and Get My Free Patterns?

Step 1: Sign up here https://transactions.sendowl.com/stores/14416/209390 to receive exclusive access to the hidden Treasure Chest webpage – available only to those brave enough to make the journey! Or just visit the above link and enter your email address, no monster slaying required…

Step 2: After you sign up, you’ll receive an email with the hidden link in just a few moments – please email julia@waywardpineapplecreations.com if you don’t receive the link (and make sure to check your junk mail).

Step 3: Once you are in the Treasure Chest, you will find a list of all the patterns available. Each pattern will link you to the designer’s newsletter sign up page. Browse through the list and sign up for only the patterns that you want!

Step 4: The designer will then email you your free pattern!

https://transactions.sendowl.com/stores/14416/209390

The Treasure Chest contains $100+ worth of adorable amigurumi patterns! Each pattern is a premium PDF with detailed instructions and photos, designed by talented crochet artists around the world.

Can I get all the patterns without signing up?

Yes! The patterns are only free if you sign up and go through the Treasure Chest hidden link, but we’ve also put together a special discounted bundle if you don’t want to sign up for a bunch of designer’s newsletters. By purchasing this discounted bundle, you will instantly receive all 21 PDF patterns for 90% off retail price. Plus you’ll be supporting your favorite designers so we can keep making patterns you love – win win!

Click here to purchase the bundle for only $9.99 USD!  https://transactions.sendowl.com/products/78587456/782B2FC5/purchase?r=209390

Want to spread the word to your crochet friends? Please do! You can either forward them this email or link them to the signup page here https://transactions.sendowl.com/stores/14416/209390. All I ask is that you please do not share the hidden Treasure Chest link with anyone, since they are supposed to sign up to receive it.

Remember, the vault closes in 5 days on September 24 at 11:59pm EST – you won’t want to miss it!
