The hat is pretty simple to make; the only challenging part is changing colors. At the beginning of each color change, I measure out enough yarn of that color to run along the top of the previous row before pulling up loop on hook. This way, you’re working over the same color yarn rather than having red yarn showing through blue stiches or vice versa. Once you get the hang of this, though, it’s pretty simple.
