Rnd 1: With MC yarn, ch 2 (or magic circle), 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join. Work in continuous rnds unless otherwise specified.

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st (12 sc).

Rnd 3: Working in BLO, sc in each st.

Rnd 4: Working in both lps, sc in each st.

Rnd 5: Working in BLO, *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st,* repeat around (18 sc).

Rnd 6: *Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (22 sc).

Rnd 7: Sc in next 2 sts, *sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times (26 sc).

Rnd 8: *Sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (30 sc). Join with sl st.

Rnd 9: With CC yarn, sc in next 2 sts, *sc in next 6 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times (34 sc).

Rnd 10: *Sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (38 sc). Join with sl st. Fasten off white.

Rnd 11: Switch back to MC yarn, sc in next 2 sts, *sc in next 8 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times (42 sc).

Rnd 12: *Sc in next 9 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (46 sc).

Rnd 13: Sc in next 2 sts, *sc in next 10 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times (50 sc).

Rnd 14: *Sc in next 11 sts, 2 sc in next st* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (54 sc).

Rnds 15-17: Sc in each st.

Rnd 18: *Inv dec, sc in next 11 sts* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (50 sc).

Rnd 19: Sc in next 2 sts, *inv dec, sc in next 10 sts* 4 times (46 sc).

Rnd 20: *Inv dec, sc in next 9 sts* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (42 sc).

Rnd 21: Sc in next 2 sts, *inv dec, sc in next 8 sts* 4 times (38 sc). Join with sl st.

Rnd 22: With white yarn, *inv dec, sc in next 7 sts* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (34 sc).

Rnd 23: Sc in next 2 sts, *inv dec, sc in next 6 sts* 4 times (30 sc). Join with sl st. Fasten off white.

Insert safety eyes at Rnd 11, approximately 8 sts apart. Stuff body.

Rnd 24: Switch back to MC yarn, *inv dec, sc in next 5 sts* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (26 sc).

Rnd 25: Sc in next 2 sts, *inv dec, sc in next 4 sts* 4 times (22 sc).

Rnd 26: *Inv dec, sc in next 3 sts* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (18 sc).

Rnd 27: Sc in next 2 sts, *inv dec, sc in next 2 sts* 4 times (14 sc).

Rnd 28: *Inv dec, sc in next st* 4 times, sc in last 2 sts (10 sc). Finish stuffing.

Rnd 29: Inv dec 5 times (5 sc). Close with ult fin.

TAIL:

Attach MC yarn at Rnd 29, ch 5, 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in next 3 ch (12 sc). Sl st in same sp as joining. Fasten off yarn.

EARS: (Make 2)

Row 1: Ch 2, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook (2 sc).

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each st (4 sc).

Row 3: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in last st (6 sc).

Row 4: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in first st, sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in last st (8 sc). Fasten off yarn leaving 9” length for sewing.

Sew ears to Rnd 13 of body, approximately 11 sts apart.

LACES:

Attach white yarn in center st of Rnd 12 of body. Surface crochet along center sts of Rnds 12-18. Fasten off leaving 12” length for sewing.

Make a few straight sts across the line of surface crochet.

NOSTRILS:

Use black yarn to make 2 straight sts in Rnd 1 of body.
