Gnome Election Results

Unfortunately, my Gnome Election did not have a clear winner. The Republican Gnome and the Democrat Gnome tied in the number of pattern downloads.

Gnome Election 2020

If you’re suffering from Election Day stress, here’s a patriotic pattern to occupy your mind, a Baby Eagle Plush Toy.

Baby Eagle Plushie Crochet Pattern

I just finished my daughter’s Christmas gift and would like to publish the pattern on the blog for Thanksgiving. If you’re interested in testing the pattern, please join my Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/875538646117910/. Lately I’ve been working with Bernat blanket yarn quite a bit, and this pattern is a pillow shaped like a ranch dressing bottle. The pillow is crocheted using Bernat Blanket Yarn, and the vegetables that embellish the label are crocheted with worsted weight yarn. This would make a fun gift for that family member who dips everything they eat in ranch dressing. Every family has one!

Roller Skate Pillow Crochet Pattern

Roller skating was big in the 70s, and it seems to be making a comeback. My husband was a jam skater in his youth, and our children were true rink rats. If the rink was open, they were there! We even tried buying a skating business at the time, the but owner just couldn’t part with her rink. October is National Skating Month, so I made this cute pillow shaped like a roller skate. It uses blanket yarn, so it’s quick and super squishy. Crochet a few different colors for your tween’s bedroom, or add a couple to your game room decor. Show me your color combinations on Instagram.
