Zoo Blog Hop Day 24 – Elephants

elephant crochet patterns

A herd of 15 elephants in China has spent the past year traveling 300 miles north from a designated elephant protection zone in Xishuangbanna, near China’s border with Myanmar. No one knows whey they are migrating, but they are being closely monitored. Where will they end up? Why are they making this journey? People around the world are fascinated by elephants, and drone images of this herd have gone viral.

You can crochet your own herd of elephants with these 7 adorable designs – 4 unique amigurumi, a lovey blanket, mask mate, and finger puppets.

Zoo Blog Hop Day 23 – Sheep

sheep crochet patterns

Sheep are so cuddly and cute! Without them, where would we be as fiber artists? I’ve always wanted to own a couple to create my own yarn. Today’s Sugarcane the Sheep pattern would make a great gift for anyone, and the Lamb Eyeglass Holder is so quick and easy using a pompadour type yarn.

Zoo Blog Hop Day 22 – Zebra

zebra crochet patterns

I love the contrast between black and white on a zebra, so it’s a favorite subject of my crochet designs. Today we have an adorable zebra amigurumi pattern that would be so cute worked in scrap yarn. There’s also a quick and easy zebra coin purse using black and white ombre yarn so you don’t have to worry about the zebra’s stripes.
