June 5-9: Nature Amigurumi Crochet Pattern Bundle from Anvi’s Granny
Materials:
I Love This Cotton yarn:
25 yards black or gray
Size G (4.0 mm) crochet hook
Yarn needle
Sewing thread & needle
2 buttons
Measurements: Approximately 7” wide by 3”
tall
Directions:
BODY:
Row 1: Ch 2, 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in st.
Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in each st (4 sc).
Rows 4-5: Ch 1, turn, inc in first st, sc across, inc in last st. (8 sc at end of Row 5).
Rows 6-11: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st.
WING 1:
Row 1: Ch 1, turn to work down side. Sc in ends of first 6 rows.
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, dec, sc in next 3 sts, inc (6 sc).
Row 3: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st.
Row 4: Repeat Row 2.
Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in next 5 sts, inc (7 sc).
Row 6: Ch 1, turn, inc in first st, sc in next 5 sts, inc in last st (9 sc).
Row 7: Ch 1, turn, inc in first st, sc in next 6 sts, dec over last 2 sts (9 sc).
Row 8: Ch 1, turn, dec over first 2 sts, sc in next 6 sts, inc in last st (9 sc).
Rows 9-12: Ch 1, turn, dec over first 2 sts, sc across (5 sc at end of Row 12).
Row 13: Ch 1, turn, dec, sc, dec (3 sc).
Row 14: Ch 1, turn, sc 3 sts tog (1 sc). Fasten off.
WING 2:
Row 1: Attach yarn at opposite side of Row 11 of body, sc in each of next 6 row ends.
Repeat Rows 2-14 of Wing 1.
EDGING:
Ch 1, working along top of wing, sc in each row end with 3 sc in end of Row 9. Continue with 1 sc in each row end across wing. Sc in first st of Row 11 of body, ch 3, sc in 2nd ch, hdc in 3rd ch,
sc in next st on top of body, sk next st, 4 hdc in next st, sk next st, sc in next st, ch 3, sc in 2nd ch, hdc in 3rd ch, sc in next st. Sc across top of wing with 3 sc in end of Row 9. At tip of wing, 2 sc in
1 st of Row 14. Continue in sc across bottom of wing with 3 sc in end of Row 6. Continue in sc around bottom of body with 3 sc in unused loop of Row 1. Continue in sc across bottom of wing
with 3 sc in end of Row 6. Work 2 sc in 1 sc of Row 14. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
