Valentine’s Day Bat Amigurumi

valentine bat

Who says Valentine’s Day has to be all roses and teddy bears? If your heart beats a little faster for quirky, cute, and slightly spooky makes, this Valentine’s Day Bat Amigurumi Crochet Pattern is about to steal your heart.

This sweet little bat is the perfect mix of spooky and lovable—soft wings, tiny ears, and Valentine-inspired details that make it ideal for gifting, decorating, or keeping as a year-round reminder that love comes in all forms (even winged ones!).

A Valentine Project with a Twist

Bats are symbols of loyalty, intuition, and strong bonds—so honestly, they’re kind of perfect for Valentine’s Day. This amigurumi bat swaps the usual dark-and-creepy vibe for something cozy, cute, and full of love. Think heart accents, soft yarn textures, and an expression that’s more hug-me than haunt-you.

Whether you’re crocheting for:

  • A gothic Valentine 💀❤️
  • A bat lover or animal enthusiast 🦇
  • A kid who loves cute creatures
  • Yourself (because self-love counts!)

…this project fits the bill beautifully.

This little sweetie only takes a few hours (I made one in an evening) and will make the perfect gift for your littles or for your significant other. I used acrylic yarn, but feel free to use up your stash of Valentine colors. Stay warm everyone!
