Penguin Ski Mask Crochet Pattern

Are you ready for another penguin design? This adorable Penguin Ski Mask is based on a pattern I made for all my children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. It was also a great seller at winter craft shows. Worked in back loops only, it creates a built-in ribbing to give the hat some stretch. The simple construction means the ski mask can be made in an evening, probably with colors you already have in your stash.

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn:
100 yards black
10 yards white
3 yards yellow
Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Gauge: 9 sc = 2″

Ski mask has built-in stretch due to working in BLO ribbing and fits 2-5-year-old child. Approximately 15” circumference and 8.5” tall.
